ISU NCA Committees
The NCA Self-Study is guided by the Accreditation Leadership Committee. Membership of this committee includes broad representation of campus leadership. The Accreditation Leadership Committee provides broad oversight to the self-study process.
Day to day oversight and implementation of the NCA self-study process is provided by the NCA Steering Committee. The steering committee oversees the criterion, special emphasis, and data analysis committees.
Five Criterion Committees are responsible for reviewing the core components of each criterion, determining what evidence exists to demonstrate compliance with the criteria, and identifying areas in which additional evidence needs to be gathered. Criterion Committees review this evidence to determine institutional strengths and weaknesses related to the core criteria.
The Special Emphasis committee is responsible for coordinating the special emphasis component of the self-study. This committee develops and coordinates the process for the special emphasis self-study.
The Data and Analysis Team provides data and analysis of that data to the committees as required.
The Mission Team provided guidance to the campus for the 2008 revision of the ISU mission statement.
