Steering Committee
The NCA Steering Committee is responsible for development and implementation of NCA self-study process. Specific charges of the NCA Steering Committee include:
- Develop and oversee the NCA accreditation process under the direction of the President and the Accreditation Leadership Committee. Ensure that all phases of the self-study process are transparent and coordinated.
- Examine the 2000 self-study and identify any stated outcomes or concerns and document the university’s progress toward resolving them.
- At the direction of the President and in conjunction with the Accreditation Leadership Committee, plan and execute the University’s NCA retreats.
- Develop and implement a campus-wide communication plan to keep the campus informed of progress and to ensure comprehensive involvement by the campus in the planning process.
- Act as a conduit between the Accreditation Leadership Committee, Criterion Committees, Special Emphasis Committee and the campus in general.
The NCA Steering Committee oversees the Criterion Committees, Special Emphasis Committee, and Data Analysis Team.
