Engagement & Service
The Engagement and Service Committee is responsible for documenting and reviewing evidence that ISU identifies its constituencies and serves them in ways both value.
Specific charges of the Engagement and Service Committee include:
- Review the Core Components of Criterion Five and review current ISU data and information to determine what evidence exists to demonstrate compliance with the core components and areas in which additional evidence needs to be gathered.
- Conduct a preliminary review of current evidence (or lack thereof) and identify major issues or questions that need to be addressed quickly for the University to be able to be compliant with the core components.
- Identify additional questions or areas of inquiry within Criterion Five that could benefit the University if addressed by the committee as it prepares for the NCA visit.
- Prepare updates on progress for the Accreditation Leadership Committee meetings and prepare a phase one report that addresses charges by March 1.
