Mission & Integrity Committee
The Mission and Integrity Committee is responsible for providing and reviewing evidence that ISU operates
with integrity to ensure the fulfillment of its mission through structures and processes that involve the board,
administration, faculty, staff, and students.
Specific charges of the Mission and Integrity Committee include:
-
Review and work with the Mission Statement Team to ensure that our revised mission statement reflects
current institutional values and strategic direction, and that it reflects the Promise Statement which
has guided these initiatives since the last Strategic Plan.
-
Review the Core Components (1a-1e) of Criterion One and review current ISU data and information
to determine what evidence exists to demonstrate compliance with the core components and areas in which
additional evidence needs to be gathered.
-
Conduct a preliminary review of current evidence (or lack thereof) and identify major issues or
questions that need to be addressed quickly for the University to be able to be compliant with the core
components.
-
Identify additional questions or areas of inquiry within Criterion One that could benefit the University if
addressed by the committee as it prepares for the NCA visit.
-
Prepare updates on progress for the Accreditation Leadership Committee meetings and prepare a phase one
