Business Intelligence

Business Intelligence (BI) is the composite of skills, processes, and technologies that perform data mining, online analytical processing, querying and reporting to improve access to and analysis of internal and external information to provide support for ISU's Strategic Plan and enhance decision-making. The goal of BI is to provide consistent, reliable data and provide ISU with "one version of the truth". Business Intelligence will strengthen the university's ability to quickly analyze data, make data-driven decisions and measure success against our strategic benchmarks.

Notes:

  1. You must use Internet Explorer to access these reports.
  2. If you are on a PC with Windows Vista or Windows 7 you may get an error message. If you get an error message follow these instructions.
  3. The first time you open a report you will be prompted to download and install an ActiveX Control.
  4. It could take several seconds for the data to load after a report is opened. Please be patient.

Other reports and cubes are available to the user community via Argos but require an Argos account. You can request an Argos account by clicking here. Please note that you must already have a Banner account prior to requesting an Argos account.
